Experience related to vehicle compliance

With more than 25 years in the PTI industry, from starting as a PTI-Inspector
to leading DEKRA’s PTI Organisation in Germany, as Technical Director and
since more than 4 years now heading the Service Division Vehicles with a
global scope.
Let me briefly elaborate on my experience. Firstly, I studied mechanical
engineering and vehicle design and have started to work as a PTI engineer at
an inspection station in Germany.
After a few years in this position, I moved to the DEKRA Headquarters in
Stuttgart. I went through different positions, from service development to
quality management. I became the technical director and took over the Service
Division Vehicle Inspection as Executive Vice President.
Consequently, I am responsible for the DEKRA’s vehicle services in 33 different
countries on all continents
